Heather’s Mental Health Tip
Screen time! How much is too much?
Summer in Columbus is a great time to get outside and away from advertisements, false narratives, and sleep reducing media. The longer I live in Columbus, the more I appreciate our hometown.
The Metro Park system is amazing, and nearly every community has a festival. Getting outside is restorative and a great way to connect with our family, friends, and partner.
I would encourage people to get out and get some fresh air (without the phone) as much as possible this summer.
If you or someone you know struggles with getting outside, consider walk and talk therapy through Holistic Consultation at the Park of Roses. Through the support of your therapist, you can reclaim your enjoyment of the outdoors. Wishing everyone a refreshing summer of sunshine, fresh air, and renewed connectivity with your loved ones.
