Welcome Emily!

Emily Steinway is an independently licensed social worker with nearly ten years of experience in community mental health and healthcare. She received her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2014, where she focused on mental health and addiction. She has worked primarily with adults and specializes in treating people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, psychosis, trauma-related diagnoses, grief, and life transitions. She enjoys working with people who are exploring their gender identity and sexuality, especially individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Emily considers it a privilege to hold space for clients and is dedicated to co-creating a safe, person-centered, and collaborative environment for healing and growth. Emily has completed multiple training courses for a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems and parts work, trauma-informed care and somatic therapies, and liberation focused healing.
