Carissa believes that while every client’s journey is unique, the need for support is universal.
Carissa specializes in working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, mood disorders, and life transitions. She takes pride in fostering a welcoming, safe space to those who may feel isolated in their struggles.
Blending a variety of evidence-based practices, Carissa tailors her therapeutic approach to each individual. Her techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Jungian Theory, and more, ensuring that each client receives care that resonates with their specific needs.
Carissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wright State University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Dayton.
Carissa offers services full time through teletherapy.
